LOCATION

ROUTES
We will offer routes of 18/24/32/62miles this year.
The metric century (62 mile)travels through the beautiful (and challenging!) hills and valleys of Holmes and southern Wayne Counties. This route is divided into 2 loops, so you have the option of riding the first loop and calling it a day, or completing the 62 miles.
The 18,24, and 32 mile routes travel on the beautiful Holmes County Rails-to-Trails trail., from Fredericksburg, to Millersburg , to Killbuck and back, depending on the option you choose. A rest/refreshment stop for both routes will be provided at the Hipp Station trail depot in Millersburg.
ALL FINISHERS OF BOTH ROUTES WILL BE TREATED TO HOMEMADE FRY PIES & ICE CREAM
Sag wagon will be provided along the routes, and an emergency phone number will also be provided.
Maps will be provided for each route, and routes will also be marked on the road.
We care about your safety- please wear an approved bicycle helmet when participating in the Library Roll!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF THE FREDERICKSBURG COMMUNITY LIBRARY- ALL PROCEEDS GO TO KEEPING THIS “LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULD” GOING STRONG!!
Good morning,
So is the price for the 40 mile route the same as the 62 mile route? The registration does not specify a 40 miler?
thanks
Peg
Yes, price is the same. The 40 mile route is actually the first “leg” of the 62 mile route. We designed it to give folks that option.
We hope to see you soon!
How many women did the 40/62 mile ride – just curious – Thanks Melissa
13 women, out of the total of 48 40/62 mile riders.
We are from out of town and just happened to find this. What a great ride and nice group of people – from the organizers to the varied participants.
The refreshment stop in Millersburg was great! – I loved the trail sandwich and PB&J, and hydration options – good company
We hope to catch this Roll in future years.
Thanks so much, Mark. We are so glad you could be here to support our little library!!!
Hi there.
New to the Cleveland metro area. Does this route include gravel roads? Just wondering if I should use my gravel or road bike—not familiar with this part of Ohio…Thanks!
I am interested in the ride! I know we need to leave by 1030 AM but what time can I leave? Will I be able to leave by 8:00 AM? I have things I need to do that day so will need to be done early.
Thanks
We start registering/check in at 7, so you can leave any time after that. We look forward to seeing you!!
all paved roads- hope to see you soon!
do you know the date of this years Library Roll ? i want to plan a vacation in Sept but dont want to miss the ride ( have done it twice now but missed it in 2022 )
This year’s Library Roll will be held on Saturday, September 30. We hope to see you then!!
would you have a map available to view for the 62 mile ride ? or is it the exact same as previous years ?
Will there be Ride with GPS files available for downloading into our GPS devices?
We are working on it!
Any chance of a GPS file of the 62 mile route becoming available soon? I want to register, but I need to understand the course better before I do. Thanks!
Any update on the Ride with GPS files?
Yes! on Ride with GPS…The first loop is “Fredericksburg Library Roll 2023, 62 mile route, MORNING LOOP”
